Pymatuning Field Station
The University of Pittsburgh operates an ecology field station at Pymatuning Lake in Northwestern PA. Short, intensive summer courses can be taken here by Pitt-Bradford students. Please speak with your advisor if you are interested in taking one of these courses. If you have ever wanted to walk through the woods at night looking for owls, collect water samples from a kayak, or tromp through the swamp in search of frogs, this is the place for you! These courses are also a great way to earn upper-level biology credits in a short period of time.
Please visit the official web site for the Pymatuning Field Station for more information and to see the summer course schedule.
